Raincoaster Challenge: Defeat admitted

Sad but true. Edit: No Longer True

Despite my best efforts, I have not managed to score a hit on raincoaster with even the most deranged searches. For this I blame the general web community for not running similarly deranged searches and then hitting raincoaster.

It’s weird, but I get hits here from fairly standard phrases. I try to figure out how on earth a blog with as little traffic as mine gets hit often enough to lift its search ranking high enough to even feature, but to no avail. I tried an experiment: type the search into google and page through until I find my site. I gave up after twenty pages of results. Someone must have literally gone through all those pages. Does anyone know anyone who pages through more than two results pages to get their info? Bizzare.

Unless it was a bot.

WordPress doesn’t count bots. Try MSN or Yahoo searches; they’re much more dynamic than google.

I think your searches leading to me were lost in the inundation I got as a result of Britney searches, and Keith Olbermann on Bush in Vietnam. My traffic tripled. And then my internet connection went down. But doubt not: the raincoaster challenge shall rise again!

All is not lost. The raincoaster challenge has been officially pimped out.

Don’t believe a word she says. After tripling her stats, she binged on triple sec – – – If her connection went down it is but a hazy memory.

It has been rumoured that the dread, squid-faced raincoaster is talking with Bob Geldof about doing a liver-aid concert for her benefit.

You watch – she will use liver-aid on her pimping site!

sgd archie – gigolo of the blogosphere.

Actually, how did you know? I’ve been on a liver kick ever since I had a chat with a chef about rabbit livers. That reminds me to get to the bunny farm tomorrow. Maybe if I put two of them together they’ll replace what I’ve got right now.
